Sorry it's taken me so long to email you. As you know, we just returned from our honeymoon last Sunday and this past Saturday was our at home reception.
Everything was perfect!! The wedding was wonderful. Our families and friends had a great time, the weather was cooperative, and we even received an upgrade to a suite at the Sheraton (after some lobbying, of course). It's been hectic, but now we can finally relax.
And the honeymoon was unbelievable. We saw and did so much and barely scratched the surface of what Egypt and Kenya have to offer. There are over 3000 pics from our honeymoon to go through so needless to say, they are not posted yet.
I will send a more detailed review of the hotel and honeymoon shortly. Thanks for your help with the wedding and honeymoon.

We had a great time at the reception as well, it was set up perfectly for our party. The DJ kept our guests drinking, laughing and dancing until the end!

We had a blast at Sandals Whitehouse...it was just perfect. It was the perfect crowd, the Jamaican's are just amazing, they really made the trip even more enjoyable.
We loved our butlers and suite, just beautiful! Food and drinks were great...Jamaican Smiles were the best drink at the pool bar. We snorkeled and sailed twice...we had to go back for more. Otherwise we relaxed by/in the pool (we hadn't relaxed in months!) and had some drinks with some great people we met. Dinner was delicious...my meal of choice was the Surf N Turf at Eleanore's, we ate dinner there 3 times! Room service was great when we didn't feel like going out...had breakfast in bed one morning....it ALL was just WONDERFUL!
I attached 5 pics we bought of what their photographers took...please check out my facebook page I have a whole album dedicated to the honeymoon...Rachel Mowrey Gutshall. We were a little disappointed with a flight delay getting there, but hey, there's nothing we can really do about it.

I wish Adam and I could remember the exact reason why we chose a destination wedding. To be honest, I hate being the center of attention, and a giant wedding seemed envitable. Adam comes from a large family, and we had a ton of friends who wanted to come. I don't like the idea of people comparing weddings and judging them. When we sat down, we really thought about who we wanted to be there. At first, we just chose immediate family. However, Adam's extended family was quite upset. I didn't realize how close ALL of them were to each other. Since Adam was from Colorado and my family was spread out across the U.S., there was no middle ground. We didn't want to make half of the family fly, especially our friends. Therefore, we decided that having everybody fly was a better idea for us. We knew a few of our friends would make the journey, but we didn't think that was fair to our other friends. Thus, we decided this would be a family only wedding. At first, we thought the wedding would be small. However, as we started getting RSVP cards back, we realized our destination wedding was going to be around 30 people. Honestly, this turned out to be the best experience.
Getting married at an all-inclusive resort was the best decision that we made. Upon our arrival, we set up snorkeling for the entire wedding group. We really wanted everyone to go. Once we found out that snorkeling was down on a glass bottom boat, we were thrilled. We pitched the idea that even if people didn't want to snorkel, they could still see everything just by being on the boat. Since our family was so large (30 people), we had the entire boat to ourselves. Big plus! Also, the boat had a canopy, so the sun wasn't glaring down on us. Our family thought (besides the wedding, of course) that this was the BEST event. I wish I could describe how incredible it was. I got back on the boat and was just like "WOW." FYI - Also, since our families were staying at three different resorts, we decided to go snorkeling at Beaches Sandy Bay (we stayed at Beaches Negril).
Honestly, when I arrived at the hotel, I was really disappointed. I just didn't like the looks of the buildings - bright green, blue, yellow, red, etc. I thought I had made a mistake. However, the following morning, we met with our on-site wedding planner and she showed us the different wedding locations. My jaw dropped. I immediately picked the gazebo to get married at and chose the beach hut for our wedding reception. My disappointment quickly left me. [For the record, I was 100% that I did not want to get married at the gazebo before we got to Jamaica. My advice to brides is to wait until arrival to make any decisions about where she wants to get married.]
The on-site wedding planners were FABULOUS! Our only comment is that some of the stuff we sent to Jennifer didn't make to the hotel (seating charts, numbers, etc). It just seemed like it had gone through too many people - Jennifer, then Florida, then the resort. We totally understood how things got lost in the mix. Looking back through my emails, I saw where I had requested wrist corsages vaguely. However, the corsages were pin on. I should have been more specific. In all honestly, I didn't care, but the moms had a hard time because their dresses weren't strong enough. I had told them wrist corsages.
VIPs assistance was crucial. I found Jennifer and the company by the luck of the internet. I am very picky and organized, and VIP was the right fit for me. In the beginning, I was very on top of things. Jennifer and I worked well together sending multiple emails daily. Towards the end, I got burnt out of wedding planning. Luckily, when our family members had questions, Jennifer was able to answer them quickly. Her knowledge of the particular resort I was getting married was a GREAT help. I could definitely tell that her and her team had been physically been to the resorts and knew what they were talking about. Also, if Jennifer didn't know an answer to my question, she would quickly find it out for me. My husband and I can't say enough great things about VIPs assistance. Without a doubt, we would recommend VIP to any engaged couple.
Also, having a big group proved to be challanging. I would caution couples against trying to have dinners together besides the rehearsal and wedding reception. Even though we had reservations in restaurants, we still had to wait anywhere from twenty to fifity minutes for our table. Luckily, we and our family are very relaxed and didn't mind waiting. I would recommend either eating separate or in small tables (6 or less).
We had no problems using the shuttle service between hotels. We even walked from hotel to hotel. However, be careful of local Jamaicans when you are off of property. Adam got slipped many different types of drugs. The best part about the locals is when you put your foot down and say no, they move on very respectfully.
The only thing that Adam and I would caution other couples about would be transferring from one hotel to another. We got married at Beaches Negril and then transferred to Sandals Negril. The front desk and bell hop were not on the same page. We were told we were leaving at 2pm, but after an hour of waiting, the bell hop finally realized who we were once we asked when the taxi was going to arrive. He was told that our transfer was at 4pm. It took five minutes for them to call a cab, but waiting by the front desk for an hour wasn't too fun! Upon arrival at Sandals Negril, it was evident that our room wasn't ready. We only had to wait about 15 minutes before our butler arrived to escort us to the room. BIG PLUS - Since our room wasn't ready, we were upgraded to the Honeymoon Penthouse Beachfront One Bedroom Crystal Lagoon Suites. This was a huge upgrade. We were very pleased with the room. As the butler was showing us around the room, he asked Adam when he wanted to do the candle light dinner. I guess the message wasn't relayed that it was a surprise! Adam was pretty disappointed, but I was thrilled to know that he had planned that for us. There was a lot of confusion about that dinner - they had it scheduled for June 7, instead of my birthday, but after a few minutes on the phone with sales, we got everything sorted out. Also, our wedding dinner and breakfast was a big hassle. Beaches Negril promised to send over our pre-picked menus, so we wouldn't have to do it again at Sandals Negril. Unfortuntely, the hotels seemed to miscommunicate. It took about thirty minutes to do it over again.
For this email, I had to dig for criticism. Adam and I keep talking about the wedding and how we wouldn't change a SINGLE thing about it. If we could do it all again, we would do it the exact same way.
Jennifer, everything was perfect. Thank you, Danielle, and the rest of your team for everything. Sorry this email took so long. I really had to take some time to sit down and write everything out. I will email you the pictures tonight.

I've been meaning to write you about our recent trip to Secrets Capri, April 22-25, to tell you what a great time we had! I've also attached a few photos we took at the resort.
Capri was our first AI experience and it was just what we were looking for to celebrate my birthday. We don't really consider ourselves AI people (we usually rent private accommodations and like to get out to explore and eat in local places) but for this trip we only had 3 nights and wanted an easy, inexpensive and romantic getaway. Secrets was perfect for us and we would definitely return for a long weekend in the future.
We loved the small size of Capri and found the resort and staff to be wonderful. We were thrilled that, even though we booked the least expensive room, we stepped out onto our balcony to find an ocean view and could hear the sound of the surf! My husband had contacted the resort ahead of time to arrange a birthday surprise for me. We walked in to find our room decorated with streamers and balloons and a dozen roses! A little while later they brought up a cake and cheese plate for us to enjoy.
We found the service at the resort to be attentive and the food to be quite good. I had a massage on our last day and thought the spa was fantastic!
Thanks so much for helping us with the planning of this wonderful trip! We love how you are always quick to respond and answer questions. The entire trip was wonderful! We will definitely be in touch with you again!

I know you worked with my husband, Jason Lee, in planning our honeymoon to Antigua back in April. Now that we’re back I wanted to email you and let you know what an amazing time we had. I am so glad we decided to go to Antigua. I didn’t want to go to an island that was very well known and one where we could easily go back in the future. Antigua was absolutely perfect. From the moment we landed, everyone was so nice and cheerful. I believe it was Sonya who helped get us checked in and took us to our room. I have never been to an all inclusive resort before and Sonya made us feel right at ease.
Our room was more than I ever could have imagined. The view was amazing and I loved our little balcony looking out over the ocean. I did hear other guests mention they were having problems with their air conditioning units, but everything was perfect for us.
There are two people I wanted to bring to light especially. The first is Malissa. We met Malissa when we went for drinks at the Bayside bar one night. She was so pleasant and easy to talk to. Jason and I had a wonderful time talking to her about Antigua and the carnivals they have. We saw her the next few days as a waitress by the swim up bar and she was always so sweet and remembered us. She really made our time at the pool wonderful.
The other person was Stacia. Stacia was our waitress one afternoon at Cricketeers Pub. The next morning at breakfast, she recognized us and said hello. She asked if we had much longer at the resort and when we told her the next day was our last day, said she would keep an eye out for us at breakfast that morning. When we arrived for breakfast, we made our way to a table when she told us she had set up a special table just for us. We walked to “our table” and she had decorated the top with gorgeous flowers that spelled out the word ‘LOVE’. And if that wasn’t enough, they surprised us with a piece of cheesecake afterwards that had the message, ‘Jason and Jacqui, We will miss you.’ It was so incredibly sweet. I already didn’t want to leave that day, and everything Stacia did made me really not want to leave.
I know in talking with Jason he had a great experience planning the honeymoon with your help. Thank you so much for everything – and of course our bottle of rum. :) I don’t have all of our pictures here at work (we took over 200!) but I’ve attached the photos I do have. Again, thank you so much for all your help with planning. Our honeymoon was absolutely amazing and I’m already thinking a 5 year anniversary trip is in order. :)

Vacation was great….spent a couple days in FL before departing…friend has a condo within ear range of Disney train and site of fireworks every night…so really good time. Cruise ship was enormous…rooms were spacious…opened balcony doors between the 4 rooms in a row so we had a huge balcony area for all of us to congregate. I did win $100 at Bingo…spent well over that to play, but at least I won…casino took all my money…didn’t give any back…shows were awesome..the ice show in particular …cruise director Abe Hughes was terrific. Ronald and Pedro our waitstaff at dinner were such good sports and played along with some of the class antics (brought crayons and coloring book for one of the guests we kept referring to as little baby!...also served him a plate of mashed potatoes first night….he was funny!)….watched friends do zip line in Labadee and a little intimidated by the shops in the alley….whew….here free…here free…now how much you give me for all the free stuff???.....got my hair pulled and braided in Jamaica…funny story…will tell you sometime…went dune buggy ride in Jamaica…I was crudy afterwards…first time a dune buggy got totaled in their 3 years of operation..not one of us…kid from Massachusetts….swam with the dolphins in Grand Cayman (couldn’t go into regular port due to high winds and waves)…sightseeing (tourist traps) in Cozumel…rough seas a few days, but didn’t get sick….two days at sea were too cold and windy to sit out and tan, but still found things to do!

I just wanted to thank you again for arranging our trip to the DR. We had a phenomenal time. The Excellence Punta Cana resort exceeded our expectations. We loved our room. We had a view of the garden and gazebo and could see the ocean. And thank you for setting up our birthday/anniversary package. They brought us a bottle of champagne and fruit. We thought all the restaurants we went to were very good but our favorite was the Mediterranean called the Barcelona. The service was exceptional, not only at the restaurants but at the pool, beach, bars, front desk, baggage handlers, and room service. The nightly shows were very entertaining. The beach was so beautiful and so amazed that it was not crowded at all.
The VIP transportation to and from the resort was flawless. We skipped the excursions and just wanted to hang out at the resort and relax.
We couldn't be happier with our trip and really want to thank you for all your help, even down to the small details like our travel pouch to keep our itinerary, passports, etc. It was nice to have our documents organized when going through airports.

I just wanted to write you and say thank you for helping make our honeymoon so special. We had a blast at Sandals Ocho Rios Jamaica, the weather was gorgeous all week long :) And what a surprise it was to have arrived with the notification that we were upgraded to a private villa with a pool!!! We felt like a king and queen with all the special treatment - champagne delivered to our door, breakfast in bed, a special honeymooners photo shoot... it was so much fun. We got to take advantage of some of the excursions as well and had a blast climbing dunn's river falls, ziplining, and horseback riding down a mountain and through the ocean! The resort was so beautiful, the food was excellent, the staff was always friendly and courteous... and we couldn't ask for more at the price..
You have been so helpful from day 1, I hope that you can help us with every vacation we plan! Thanks again, you are very good at what you do and I will happily recommend you to anyone and everyone!!

Beaches Negril
The food, beach and staff were all fabulous. We had such an amazing time with our friends and family. There is absolutely nothing better then a family vacation, wedding and honeymoon all-in-one! The wedding staff at Beaches Negril did an amazing job pin pointing exactly what I wanted on my wedding day and I did not have to worry about a thing. I got my hair and makeup done at the spa on the resort and Stacy Ann did both my hair and makeup and did an awesome job. Please keep in mind that it took her two hours to do both my hair and makeup and I never did a trial.
We opted for the 1 hour cocktail reception and it ended up being over 2 hours. It was a white glove service and the staff was super friendly. They even danced with our nieces while Brian and I got taken away by our photographer for pictures. Our photographers name was Nicola and she was amazing. Extremely friendly and I liked her from the first time we met her, even before I knew she was a photographer. She was fun to work with and did an amazing job on our wedding pictures. Our wedding day was perfect and I am extremely happy with the way everything turned out. I owe it all to VIP and the amazing staff at Beaches Negril!!!

Just wanted to tell you more about our trip to Secrets Capri at the end of February. I'm writing this, and Kevin will add stuff if he wants to. We had a FABULOUS time. The hotel was exactly like it looked online - beautiful, new-looking, clean, and well-maintained, which was great. The service - waiters, maids, concierges, etc. - was fantastic. We went to a different place for dinner each night so that was fun to try new places.
We went on two excursions - one we booked through American Express - a 1/2 day trip to Tulum, which was great. We didn't want to do Tulum + Xel Ha because we didn't want to take a full-day trip. We booked a snorkeling excursion through the hotel tour concierge, which was great too. We also took the free shuttle from Secrets Capri into Playa del Carmen one night.
The funny part of our trip was that we had a honeymoon banner on our door and were treated as honeymooners, which we aren't. But, we didn't complain and enjoyed our welcome champagne! :) We met another couple that weren't honeymooning but had the honeymoon treatment too.

Got back from Mexico on Tuesday and we had an absolute blast :) ALL our guests had a fabulous time.
I am so happy with the way everything turned out. The timetable ended up being perfectly fine. The ceremony was at noon, we were done taking pictures at 1:30, we sat and has some drinks and then I went back to the room and washed my hair and took my makeup off and went swimming with everyone. And then I slipped back into my dress and went to the reception at 6. The reception was great, service was excellent. We had a blast.
If you ever have anyone that is looking for a review of everything there let me know I would be happy to talk to them. Anabel, the wedding coordinator was fabulous.

I cannot thank you enough for talking me into getting married in Jamaica!!! IT was by far the most spectacular time that I have ever had in my life!!! There are actually no words to describe how awesome BEACHES Resort is......I expected it to be great, but it was so much more than great! I have to say, I was a bit unlucky, but the natives in Jamaica say otherwise, because out of all the days we were there, the only day it rained was on my wedding day, and it rained at exactly 4 pm, the time we said our vows....then everyone ran under the tents, and we realized that we had to take the party indoors, BUT, thank god I can laugh about it now......we ended up having the reception in one of the restaurants called the Seville, and it was beyond amazing, especially when my drunk Aunt went into the kitchen and got the entire staff onto the dance floor!!!!!!!!! It was beyond hysterical and just so much fun!!!!
The staff came up to me the next day and asked me if i was the bride from that crazy new york group....and if course i laughed and said yes and they just couldnt stop telling me how it was by far one of the best weddings they ever had at beaches.......they even downloaded the pics and saved them, AND THEY CALLED ME ALREADY ABOUT THEM!!!!!! Telling me how GREAT the pictures came out....!!!!
The next day the butler, his name was Conrad and was simply awesome.....he arranged for a beach party with a DJ to serve drinks and lunch for all of my guests....we partied all day until the sunset and did all of the water sports etc....the pictures do not even do it justice!!!!!
My engaged friend darlene wants to get married away too at a beaches and I gave her all of your info for when she is ready....
My room was simply gorgeous and they also upgraded my parents....
Again, the place is just fantastic and there are no words to describe how happy I was and am about BEACHES!!!! Again, thank you so so so so so much for EVERYTHING!!!!!! I am forever grateful to you for everything~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This THANK YOU is long overdue! My husband and I spent 6 nights at the Regent Palms in Turks and Caicos from August 2 - 8th for our honeymoon. We wanted to thank you for making the trip so easy! We had a wonderful time! The room was great; they did get us a partial ocean view and there was champagne and cookies waiting for us. We loved the hotel and would recommend it in a heart beat. There were kids and families there, but not enough to bother us. If anything, it made us a little more comfortable b/c it felt safe and friendly.
We did a half day snorkeling excursion with Turks and Caicos Dream Tours that the hotel set up for us. It really made the trip! The island was so beautiful, food was great, and people were very friendly.
We loved having all of our travel info in one place; the travel pouch was so convenient!

I just wanted to write to say THANK YOU for all of your help in our honeymoon planning. Everything was perfect and we had a blast. Our room had a great view of the beautiful ocean. The resort was fabulous and we really enjoyed ourselves. We never even left the resort, we loved it so much. (The two tours we were going to do were unavailable because the boat was being refurbished). Everyone at the resort was so friendly and helpful. Everything went smoothly with our flights and Michael really enjoyed flying for the first time (although the flight home was a bit bumpy due to some turbulance and I think Mike was a little scared and didn't want to admit it). We had no problems with our honeymoon perks and were welcomed to a bottle of champagne and cute little swans made out of towels on the bed (which I am glad I got a picture of right away when we got there because Mike decided to take a nap and everything ended up on the floor and the swans were no longer swans).
My one and only complaint which really is no big deal is the concierge was pretty much non-existent. We didn't have one in our building (Windsor) and the one over in the other building basically handed me a list of numbers and told me to make reservations myself. I had all of my reservations made in 2 minutes flat and we had no problems when we showed up where we had to go. I really didn't mind, as I make calls all day in work anyway to schedule things, so it was ok. But the concierge level did have its perks, such as the minibar which was always stocked with sodas when we got thirsty at 3 a.m. and the preferred check in which was nice. I figured I would just let you know.
Once again, thanks so much for everything . Our honeymoon would not have taken place without you and we are forever grateful. Michael and I really loved the whole Sandals experience, and we have decided its the only way to go for now on. Hopefully, St. Lucia here we come in September 2010.
By the way, speaking of St. Lucia, do you know anything about Jet Blue beginning non-stops from JFK this fall? Any feedback on Jet

First of all, I want to thank you for helping me plan the honeymoon of my dreams! You made the process very easy for me. I am really glad you had the pleasure of going to Hawaii a few weeks before me, because your advice was right on. Here is a review of the trip and the excursions we did.
The Ritz Carlton - Kapalua, Maui - A++
It doesn't get much better than this.. Kapalua is destined for honeymooners. It is very quiet and removed from the "nightlife" which was fine with us. The resort was not full so getting primo spots at the beach and pool were easy. We got upgraded to a suite when we arrived which was awesome -- with two lanais and sitting areas, a jacuzzi tub, and great amenities in room. The suite had a garden view, right near the pool, and was 900 square feet. Bigger than many of my friends NYC apartments. The suites were just renovated and they are beautiful - Truly 5 star. We had breakfast included in our rate (thank god for that) which was wonderful AND it saved us $75 a day (very pricey there). Food was wonderful, fresh and on point. They gave us a neck pillow as a honeymoon gift, which came via the nightly turn down service. I took full advantage of that!! The only gripe I have was the service at the pool and it isn't a deal breaker, however I expected more given everything else. Service was very slow and the servers, although many, were very scarce. That being said, I would have a hard time staying ANYWHERE else in Maui. Excursons:
Sunrise Tour to Haleakala via Polynesian Adventure Tour; Cost $75 plus tax per person through the Ritz
Pick up was at 2:40 am & this tour picks up you and all the other passengers at various hotels through Maui. When you are staying at the Ritz, in Kapalua, you are the first stop since you are the furthest North. This means you wait to pick up around 20 other passengers all over Maui, and you have the pleasure of getting to love or hate them over the next 9 hours. This proves for funny stories... But anyway we arrived at the Haleakala Volcano visitor center about 5:00 am... The sun does not rise until 6:15 am. The first stop on the tour takes you is to the visitor center for sunrise at 10,000 feet and change to watch the sunrise... We felt like we were on the moon with the lighting and the scenery.. I would not have traded this experience for ANYTHING while in Hawaii. Yes, it is a long and full day at around 2:30 am to 10:30am drop off but it was amazing and something you will probably never experience anywhere else... SIDENOTE: We were going to do the tour which biked down the volcano after the sunrise. The hotel conceirge said, no very dangerous, so we elected the van up and down the crater. We are glad that we did because my co-worker, also on their honeymooon in Maui the same day, opted to bike down, and his wife was hit by a car & hospitalized with internal bleeding for a few days! NOT COOL and very dangerous to do that, so I am telling everyone I can not to do that..
Iao Valley - We drove here and it is beautiful - the scenery is amazing. Worth the trip. About 35 miles from Kapalua, where we were staying.
Feast at LeLe - Lahaina - A+
We took you suggestion and booked this Luau; We had front row seats and the scenery was unparalled.. The food was good, although I dont eat fish, and the drinks were flowing plentifully - Service was great. I loved this Luau but have nothing else to compare it to!
Road to Hana - B
Just as you suggested, we could have skipped it. We drove ourselves and it poured the whole time we were there.. The scenery is nice on the way there, but with terrential downpoars, flash flooding and rocks falling on the road; we had quite an adventure..We didnt stop too much due to the rain and fear of ruining our camera. When you get to Hana, there is nothing, so I felt like okay, lets go home! I had other people tell me it was the best part of their trip - Guess it depends on the weather!!
QuickSilver Boat Snorkel Tour - B 75+ per person
I need to say that comparing this hotel after the Ritz, is a very tough task. I would say this is not a 5 star and probably around a 3.5 to 4 resort; Although we were upgraded per the plan we booked, our room had an oceanview and thats about it. Nothing stood out with the room, other than the ocean view on the lanai. It was very small and just a room, with a small lanai but nothing really luxurious. When we arrived back at the room later that evening, we had a bottle of champagne in our fridge and a few other honeymoon perks which was nice.. The signature restaurant, Tidepools, was very average and they way overcooked my steak which is a turnoff in my book for a $200 plus dollar meal..
The pool grounds were gorgeous and very diserable. They have a salt water swim lagoon also, since you cant swim in the ocean, on grounds is too rough and that was cool. The weather was perfect and better than the Princeville side for sure. The drinks poolside were ridiculously priced with frozen drinks costing around $15.00; To me, living in NYC area, that is even more ridiculous than anything I have ever seen! Totally un cool.
Blue Hawaiian Helicopter Tour - $220 including tax per person through the Ritz A+
Awesome and everything I expected. MUST DO THIS IN KAUAI - Napali coast overheads made me need to do a Napali coast boat tour since you can only see it via air or boat.
Captain Andy's Napali Sunrise Dinner Tour - $115 per person with tax - A
After seeing the Napali coast by helicopter, I HAD to see it again. This was a great excursion and I highly recommend it. Food, service and scenery were top notch.
I wrote you a book!!! Hahaha, hope it is helpful- Thank you so much for everything you did for us! I hope my experiences can help you with other folks. The total cost for this trip was $11,000- That's alot! BUT WORTH EVERY PENNY!!

Sorry I took so long to get back to you! This summer has been pretty crazy. We LOVED Excellence Playa Mujeres. It was amazing! Our room was beautiful and super clean. We stayed in the 2 story rooftop terrace room and it was great! The pool on top was such a refreshing way to relax late in the afternoon. The grounds were gorgeous, and the staff was excellent. Everyone seemed to pay attention to every detail, and they were able to get anything and everything we needed. The food was good too. We loved having so many choices for lunch and dinner. I would definitely recommend this resort to honeymooners. It was far enough away from the hotel zone that it seemed private and relaxing. We definitely want to go back in the future!

Vinny and I want to thank you and Dani for all your hard work and patience with our group. Your company did an excellent job. I wish you could of been there for our day. Did you make it for the grand opening- I heard you were coming.
Everything went well with the wedding. About 10-15 people got sick including Vinny on the wedding day but thank god not for long (about 8 hrs it lasted). One of Vinny's cousins is a doctor and checked out Ashley and just said it was a virus and had to run its course.
Everyone said that it was the best wedding that they ever went to.
The arrivals were a bit hectic - a lot of the rooms were not ready or assigned yet. A few people had to change rooms b/c of the smell of the waste center. Also for the Reskler's their room was actually dirty (like beer cans all over the place) and they only had one room down (they requested two ajoining rooms) and some others had backed up toilets so they had to change. But they were very accomadating to us and changed everyone.
Ours was great (they upgraded us to the 2 bedroom suite in the Italian village on May 8th). It was beautiful. The food was great and the camp was even better. We utilized the Nanny's at night a few times and for the wedding.
Overall - everyone had a great time and a lot of us already put a deposit down to come again next year and a Tim McArdle is planning on having his 20 year anniversary there in 2010.

Hey…I am back. We left June 19th and came home the 29th. The Azul was BEAUTIFUL! The staff was OUTSTANDING. The weather was gorgeous the first 7 days we were there including the wedding and then it rained the last 4 days ALL DAY.
The only problem we had which they did not accommodate us really was having our guests at dinner as more than a party of 8. We had 40 guests and they did not make any exceptions because they did not want one server having us. Even after we said we would take multiple servers they would not do it. We only were looking to put together a table of 15.
Roberto and Veronica organized our wedding when we got there and it was seamless. The music for the ceremony was perfectly timed and they did not need any help. The DJ at our reception was shaky in the beginning but we had a friend MC the dances, etc and the DJ caught on and our party was amazingggg!!! The girls have nothing to worry about!
I would have to say the entertainment is LACKING. They have one show every night at 9:30 and they are VERY good, however, there is really nothing to do at the resort other than swim and go to that show. I would recommend doing excursions for those who like entertainment, because you will not find it here. I definitely recommend tipping your maid every day. They do day and night service. Room service is always available. On our wedding night after we got back from the reception…..we had a hot tub filled with rose petals in the shape of a heart, candles all around it and two kissing swans on our bed and champain. Nothing was more romantic than that. Breakfast in bed the next day and candlelight dinner at the beach.
I LOVED IT! Best time ever! How was your resort and your wedding?? I wanna know as Jeff and I want to go away next year around the same time.

FYI - we were a little disappointed with the beach at the Azul Sensatori as it was too rocky to get in the water much past your knees. However, the resort itself was great, food was good, pools were awesome and the rooms lovely.

We're back from a wonderful 9 days in Mexico! We had only one scary glitch while we were there, but other than that everything was fabulous! We started out in a SWIM UP on the South side of the resort for the first 5 days and we stayed the last 4 days in a Casita suite! AWESOME! We went on one adventure....snorkeling in a cenote, a cave and where the river meets the ocean. It was freezing, but sooooo great! I've never seen a blue catfish before! Hahaha We even learned a little Spanish and hope to become fluent in the near future! Our concierge's are now life long friends! We just hit it off so well that even when we didn't need anything we had to go say hello! Ha One day I even sat in their office and worked a sudoku puzzle with them! Hahaha It was really funny! I sent you a link to the pics even tho I know you're a busy lady and probably won't have much time to look at them, but I hope you enjoy them if you get a chance! I know there a a couple that you'll probably get a big kick out of!

Sandals Montego Bay: With the help of Joanne, we were able to set up a perfect honeymoon at Sandals Montego Bay. Joanne was able to answer all of our questions and concerns. Together, we went through 3 or 4 different Sandals options before my husband and I decided on Montego Bay. Joanne gave us all the information, quotes, and tips we would need to make the best choice.
We chose to book a Bay Roc Villa with butler service for our stay. This was the best decision! Our butler, Mykal, was so great! Not only did he make our dinner reservations and book our excursion, he made sure we had our own tiki hut on the beach reserved daily! Mykal talked with us about everything from the resort to local culture. We were never without a stocked bar/refrigerator, and we always had fresh ice. We strongly encourage the butler level suites! It made our trip feel so much more luxurious and special!
The resort is beautiful, the beach is perfect, and the food/drinks are delicious! We hope to visit again soon!

Even though we got to PR in the middle of the night, the next morning Will and I got up early and went to see the old town. It was beautiful............
RC cruise lines are the best! This is the 2nd time on this ship and both times it was great. A few changes, but they were minor.

Sorry for not giving you an update sooner on how our wedding went in Jamaica - once we got back we had our party to plan at our house for 100 people so things have been busy since we got back from Jamaica.
We had a great time - they treated up like a king and queen! Our wedding coordinator down there was great and very helpful. We loved how nice all of the people down there were and their willing to help. We had a wonderful rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding. The girls at the salon were great and did an awesome job with hair and make up. Our wedding was more than we could have asked for - everything that day was PERFECT!! We wouldn't have done it any other way! Thanks so much for helping with our travel and wedding arrangements over the past year or so. We really appreciated it!!

It was very nice to come home to a welcome back postcard! We had a wonderful honeymoon at the Majestic Elegance in Punta Cana. It was one of the most beautiful places we have ever been and we have traveled to several tropical places when we take cruises. Check in & checking out went very smooth, less than 10 minutes. We arrived at our room with a banner across the door that said "Honeymooners". Our room was very beautiful! We enjoyed sitting on the balcony every morning and late evening to enjoy the scenery.
We didn't try the casino, we both just aren't into gambling much but we did pass by and it looked nice.
The restaurants were very good. We especially enjoyed the Japanese and one night we even had a romantic dinner by the ocean at the Sea & See restaurant. It was very nice, we were sitting off by ourselves and the view was wonderful! And we actually had one of the best meals we had the whole trip. The buffet restaurant was good for grabbing lunch after a day at the beach. They had a variety of food options. We liked getting dessert there. And the breakfast was yummy too.
The beach & pool was beautiful! Very nice and we never had a problem finding chairs. We split up the day with half at the beach and half at the pool. The swim up bar was a nice touch too, great for grabbing a frozen drink in the sun!
All the staff at the Majestic was very friendly. If we were sitting in a lounge or near the beach we always had staff ask us if we wanted a drink. Only once our room did not get cleaned. I believe it was the first day we were there. But after that we didn't have a problem. And for some weird reason, no one ever had face cloths. Thank god for those shower puffs or we would have been in trouble. There was a couple one night asking us we we had them in our room. So I guess no one in the resort had them. But it was no big deal to us, just a weird observation.
The shows were all great! Very entertaining and they lasted about an hour so it was worth waiting for. They had a Michael Jackson show scheduled for Thursday, the day he died. It was very weird that it so happened to be on that day. The entire show was packed full of people and they did a moment of silence in honor of him. It was my favorite show. The dancers were awesome!
The only issue we had the entire trip was when we were flying out to Punta Cana back to Atlanta. Apparently a lot of people didn't have seats on the plane so there were a lot of upset people which got a lot of people worried if they had seats too. Then we had a flight delay. There was a minor maintenance issue with the plane we didn't get to leave on time. We were supposed to get back around 6 pm and it was after 8 pm when we got back to Atlanta. Luckily, we didn't have any other connections to make. But a lot of people were scrambling trying to make their flight. These types of things happen. We are just glad it happened coming back home rather than going.
We also didn't have seats next to each other going to Punta Cana or coming back. It was no big deal just a little odd having to sit alone...lol. A very lonely trip but at least we both got to our destinations together and safely and that is all that really matters.
Overall we had an EXCELLENT honeymoon! We would def. go back and we hope that one day we can visit Punta Cana again! It's so beautiful! I'm so glad that I did not listen to negative reviews from others about going there.
Now back to work tomorrow and I'm not looking forward to it. I wanted to thank you for everything! I'm very satisfied and would consider using your company again to book future trips!

WOW, I don’t even know where to start! From the moment we pulled into the resort, it felt like paradise. Every where you look it’s just beautiful, with friendly faces all around. We received towels and champagne while we checked in, then they loaded up our luggage in a dodge charger and took us right to our oceanfront room, which was absolutely awesome. The comfortable bed with a raised ceiling, glass shower and ocean front Jacuzzi, beautiful tiles, separate sinks, EVERYTHING was breathtaking. After unpacking a little we went to dinner, and every night dinner was wonderful. There is soft music playing along every pathway, it was just a completely relaxed atmosphere- which was wonderful after all of the craziness from the wedding! The food every night was fantastic, we never had a single complaint. We even ordered a late night snack from room service, which was delivered very quickly and was really delicious. We loved the casual atmosphere at breakfast and lunch as well, and we definitely miss sipping our coffee while listening to the ocean in the background!
The beach was absolutely gorgeous. Towards the right you can’t really swim, it’s pretty rocky, but we loved just relaxing and enjoying the gorgeous views over there, and towards the left the ocean was perfectly clear with just enough waves to make it fun. Although we always found chairs, we never got up early enough to get a shady palapa… which didn’t really open up until later in the afternoon, but we didn’t mind. It was breezy enough that it was comfortable in the sun, and if one opened in the afternoon we would go take a nap in the shade then! The pool was gorgeous as well, and even though it was the same situation with getting a shady spot, there were always chairs available in the sun, and it never felt crowded. The whole time at the resort, although we were told they were almost at full capacity, nothing ever felt crowded.
One of our favorite things, which we really miss, was going to the plaza at night before and after dinner. There was always something fun going on, with live music, and shows, we loved just relaxing with a drink and enjoying the atmosphere (which I cant stop talking about!! It was just awesome!).
We could not have been happier about choosing the Valentin for our honeymoon, and are already trying to plan for another trip back!!! I cannot think of one bad thing to say, it was such a wonderful trip!

We were upgraded at check-in a royal garden room which was amazing, partial ocean view and views of the incredible pools. We also loved the cookies you sent, so thoughtful! Our trip gave us the time together we needed in an unforgettable setting. I am also so thankful that you were able to offer us a price adjustment so we could spend an entire week at The Grand Hyatt! Jeff was so surprised, somehow I managed to keep it a secret and just gave him directions to arrive there. His first thought was that I wanted to see it so badly that I decided to see it right away before we even checked into the Hilton, haha!

We cant thank you enough for recommending Excellence Resorts at Playa Mujeres. It was the perfect place for our honeymoon. We are already talking about our return trip in 5 years (or sooner if we come into some money!). Our flight and transportation there and back went smoothly and we will definitely use American Express transfers again. They were so friendly and accommodating. And the resort ....WOW! We have never been treated so well or experienced such a beautiful hotel. We felt like we were royalty.
The staff did everything they could to make sure that we were always satisfied. They were genuinely welcoming and eager to please. The food was plentiful and phenomenal. The rooms were immaculate and the rooftop terrace was amazing! Normally I get homesick ... but not this time! In fact, Ive been homesick for Playa Mujeres ever since we got back!
We've recommended this resort to everyone that we've talked to and VIP Vacations is our travel agent for anywhere we go in the future.

My name is Lisa and I am getting married on Saturday July 11, 2009 at the Azul Sensatori in Riviera Maya Mexico!!!!!!! We are so excited for this day as it is quickly approaching, but I must admit that when my fiancé and I decided to have a destination wedding, we really didn’t know what was going to go into it. In the beginning it nearly seemed impossible because we couldn’t just drive over to our florist or wedding venue and meet with them and have them answer all of our questions. But thanks to our AMAZING travel agent, Jennifer, at VIP Vacations she has helped make our wedding dreams come true. She actually recommended the resort we are getting married at this July, I was a bit nervous considering it was a brand new property and it was only going to open in October 2008; but Jennifer recommended that if we could afford it, to take a trip to the Azul, check it out, meet with the coordinators, and have them answer all our questions.
We were so excited to go to the Azul after seeing photos and videos of the resort. All was well until we arrived at the resort in November; everything that could have gone wrong did go wrong! I, more so than my fiancé, was freaking out; I am not going to get into all the problems we had as there were so many!!! I called Jennifer and wanted to leave the resort immediately and cancel my wedding with them; until we met Sabrina (the head of sales for Karisma) and Jose Curaso (the general manger of the Azul). They went above and beyond their call of duty to make my fiancé and me happy. As it turned out the resort did not open until literally FOUR (4) days before my fiancé and I arrived, and it was NOT FINISHED; needless to say there were tons of opening glitches! After going back and forth with Sabrina, Jose, and Jennifer, they convinced us to stay and assured us our wedding would be the most amazing thing we could ever imagine.
Although we were reluctant, they invited us to come back for a complimentary visit during the spring to see the resort at its fullest potential; the only thing we would have to do was to purchase the air. I just got home about a week ago from The Azul Sensatori and I don’t even know where to start…My sister, aka, my maid of honor, went with me on this trip to make all the final wedding decisions and we were both blown away. The resort is by far one of the most beautiful places we’ve been to. The food was amazing, the service was amazing, and literally everything about it was amazing! The wedding coordinators thru Lomas and The Azul are so amazing; there are so many choices and options and they have great ideas. We actually got to witness a wedding that was happening when we were down there and it was breath taking; although the wedding we saw was on the beach and ours happens to be a SKY Wedding we completely got the picture!
My fiancé and I are soooooooooo excited to have our wedding there; it is everything we’ve dreamed of and more! I mean every little detail is exactly what we wanted and if for some reason we are not happy with something the wedding coordinators pretty much will do whatever it is that they have to make you happy! I apologize for this long testimony, but I like many of you, was very weary about having my wedding at the Azul after reading reviews and being there to witness their grand opening; but having gone back four months later made a world of a difference! If you are still considering getting married at the Azul Sensatori, I’d say not to let the reviews get to you. I know its hard because its another country and with our economy in a bad place its hard to just take a quick vacay over to Mexico, so you want so badly to believe the reviews, but I assure you the resort is PHENOMENAL!!!! I am SOOO sorry that I haven't gotten a chance to get back to you about our honeymoon! We were so busy with Christmas stuff when we got back and everything and now I finally have a minute to breathe!!!! It was wonderful we had such a great time! It was so nice there, the people were the nicest that I've ever been around. By the time we got back my husband and I were saying hi to everyone because we were so use to it in the Bahamas!!!
We went to the island a few days and we really enjoyed that! Not too many people there (we enjoy that!) and it was really neat. We went sailing two days also which was a lot of fun! Our first full day there it poured all day so that kind of bummed us out...but it got nicer as the week went on. It wasn't real warm all week, but we still really enjoyed ourselves. My husband has never been away for more than 4 days so this was a big step for him! He really had a good time there.
He loved the food because he likes seafood. I don't like seafood so there wasn't much for me to choose from, but most of what I had was good. They actually opened this brick oven restaurant the last day that we were there, it was only open during the day but that was REALLY good!
The only complaint that we have was the last night that we were there...we went to Chricketers Pub (we went there most nights) to grab a bite to eat, and when we ordered we never got our food. We weren't sure what was going on but after about an hour...we left. We were so hungry and that was the only place for us to get food at that hour, so I talked to some of the staff and they told me that I should go back and talk with a manager. I did that, and he gave us our food to go. We kind of just took it as breaking us back into reality (as we were coming home the next day!)
All in all we had a wonderful time and would TOTALLY recommend this place to any of our friends and family!!
My mom and step-dad are actually looking to take a trip to the St. Lucia Sandals and she should be contacting you about that soon via email.
I don't have any pictures to send to you because we both forgot our camera like idiots!! We purchased a bunch of the professional pictures that they took there so we have something!!

We are back,,,what a wonderful week of fun. We had excellent weather with no rain. The week before we arrived was not nice at all. We were lucky.
The Royal Solaris is as great as it was 6 years ago when we vacationed there. We found the food was better now and the communication was much better.They certainly have worked on their English. Our rooms were nice and very clean. Staff couldn't have been nicer. Only complaint from us was the little pressure when we first arrived- to visit the Royal Solaris Grand. We did stop at the Grand on one of our walks down the beach and we couldn't see what all the hoopla was over it. Of course, we didn't see the rooms- they did all have balconies and are probably more luxurious then what our rooms were.
We would definitely go back.....don't know when, but we are spreading the word about it. I don't know how they grade resorts...BUT, the Solaris seems better than a 3 1/2 star.

We LOVED LeBlanc and would definitely, definitely recommend it to others and would go back ourselves. The room was gorgeous and we spent at least a couple hours a day just lazing in bed, watching the waves in our awesome ocean view! And the service was fantastic! The only thing I would say is that if you send other people, you might need to let them know about the services available from the butler... they didn't really offer any of the services up front, but since I had read tons of reviews, I knew to ask for them (unpacking us, pillow menu, aromatherapy, etc). They were more than willing to acommodate, but had not really offered up front and I would hate for other people to miss out on these really cool services. The massages we had were wonnnnderful - gorgeous spa! We weren't thrilled with the tours though (Isla Mujeres and Swim with the Dolphins) and were glad that they were free because I would have been really bummed if we had paid the crazy prices for those since they were both pretty lame. But we still had fun!

We are back. The wedding was just perfect and we really enjoyed the trip. 10 days wasn’t nearly long enough! The weather was beautiful. I keep hinting to Kevin that we need to go back next year for our anniversary. Thank you for recommending Antigua.
I have no regrets about doing our wedding at Sandals-they handled everything and it was perfect. The wedding pictures turned out great and the video too! I was impressed to have my wedding album within 2 days after the wedding! I attached a couple of pictures for you.
The room was beautiful and the resort was very nice. Overall everything was great. I did find the pool chair/towel situation pretty ridiculous but we spent most of our time on the beach anyway. We had a concierge at check-in that was less than helpful in getting us dinner reservations but when I found someone else to help, we had them booked for Sunday through the rest of the week. I can’t really complain about the food but it was pretty average. It was interesting to see how some restaurants really functioned to meet your expectations (Eleanors & Marios) and others-(OK Corral) were the complete opposite.
Honestly, I am glad that I read some reviews so we knew what to expect-as far at the pool chairs and reservations AND BRINGING BUG SPRAY. But I do agree that they were way off base as far as the rest of the negative comments.
We took a couple of excursions and I really recommend the Extreme circumnavigation boat tour. That was great-we saw the entire island from the water and the 5 stops were really fun.
We will definitely go to Sandals again!

Well let me just start by saying what an unbelievable resort [Paradisus Riviera Cancun]! We had a fantastic time and lived in pure luxury for 8 days. Everything was just wonderful and a great time was had by all! The service was amazing, the food was very good and we had no problems at any of the restaurant making reservations.

We were upgraded to a Rondoval at Sandals. Thank you so much for that. It was beautiful and we loved it.
Unfortunately, they were hit by the hurricaine a few weeks before our visit and lost a lot of their beach and damage to some rooms, which is a shame because the beach was great.
Overall, we had a wonderful time. Pete loved the casino and we loved our room and the location so close to the beach. The weather was great and we really relaxed and enjoyed ourselves.

We contacted VIP Vacations to book our honeymoon with less than 1 month before our wedding. April was extremely helpful, accommodating, and timely in booking our flight and resort within a few days.
We had an amazing time at the Royal Hideaway Playacar! It was everything we had expected, from the champagne check-in to the wonderful meals at the restaurants. The only bummer was that 2 of the restaurants were closed, so we didn't have dinner at all different restaurants for our 5 nights. Lunch choices are somewhat limited with only 2 places to eat. Breakfast buffet was excellent at Spice.
All of the servers were so professionally trained and attentive, we felt bad for not tipping even though gratuity was included. We ended up tipping a bunch of the wait staff on our last day. The beach was beautiful too, even with the erosion blockers, although we spent most of our time in the infinity pool. The Playacar area was really quaint and safe. We walked to Playa Del Carmen to go shopping one afternoon.
Overall it was a great experience and we can't wait to go back and visit again!

As promised I wanted to send you a correspondence that detailed the wonderful experience my wife, Barbara and I enjoyed at Grand Velas All Suites and Spa Resort in Nuevo Vallarta. This is the first time in our travels that we felt so strongly that a letter to the facility itself was warranted. Barb and I have traveled to many resort locations and we can not express how spectacular this trip was. From the minute we arrived until our unfortunate departure we were treated like royalty. The staff was extremely accommodating throughout our stay.
Santos, our bellman explained everything available to us at the resort, on a quick tour after our arrival. Alejandro, one of the fine servers we befriended gave us unparalleled service while dining. They rest of the staff in all of the restaurants were polite, well-spoken and provided an excellent dining experience. One of the servers at the pool/ocean area, Jaclyn was friendly, accommodating and made our visit most enjoyable. The pool/outside server Captain (I do not recall his name) was also extraordinary in his attention to detail and to his clients. Another employee of whose name I do not recall who registered us upon arrival, made arrangements for an upgrade to a different suite and continually made sure that our visit was pleasurable.
To a person, the entire staff made sure that this visit was one that Barbara and I would never forget. We like to visit different locations each year, but Grand Velas is probably the first resort that we will certainly re-visit. The grounds and facility were impeccable. The dining experience was first class. We enjoyed gourmet dining at breakfast, lunch and dinner.
I can not express enough how pleased we were with this experience. We have already forwarded the Grand Velas DVD to our friends and have shared our wonderful experience with all. The honeymoon was wonderful! By far the nicest hotel we have ever stayed at. The power kept going out though. The night we got there it went out during dinner but only for about 15 min. Then almost every morning it went off and on during breakfast... no biggie though! The staff was very friendly, and the food was awesome! They called us Mr. and Mrs. Taylor the whole week which was irritating my husband! I thought it was pretty funny. I guess my name was listed first on the reservation. We took the ferry to Isla Mujeres and rented a golf cart for the day and drove around. It was so much fun! We also did the lobster dinner cruise which we really enjoyed. Food was great! We went to the spa and had a couples massage, and you were right about the hydro therapy... we loved it! The resort was wonderful, and I would definitely go back there. Thank you for the recommendation!

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you! I have been working like crazy since coming back and trying to get my married life in order :) We had an AMAZING time! The wedding was perfect. It rained all day and our location got moved and our ceremony pushed back 2 hours but in the end it all worked out, we were still able to get married on the beach and the sun came out for a few minutes to make for great pictures! The Jamaicans insisted that rain on your wedding day is a blessing :) Everyone had a great time, THANK YOU! We felt like celebrities on the resort, besides everyone knowing us from the wedding... Brandon won a dance competition (hilarious), we won a trivia contest, did water aerobics, made ourselves known at the pool bar etc etc! We stayed on the resort for the most part but did venture out on foot to do some shopping at a local market and took a ride to Ricks cafe for a world famous sunset... and Brandon jumped off the cliff with my brother! Our room was beautiful, loved coming back after the wedding to flower petals everywhere and a tub in candlelight. The butler thing was interesting to us but we learned to cope ;-) There were a couple small things that didn't go as planned on the resort but nothing that VIP did or could have changed. No problem mon! All in all, the Jamaican hospitality is like no other, true service with a smile.
I don't know if you have facebook or access to it but all my pics are on there! I am trying to e-mail them all to you but I'm not doing very well. I can attatch single pics but can't figure out how to attatch a big group. I will put Brandon onto it and get them all to you! Here are a few to hold you over :-)

Just wanted to let you know that we had an amazing honeymoon! Thank you for making everything so easy & smooth! Not much to worry about!
Ladera was INCREDIBLE. The room was pretty amazing, and don't think we'll see anything like the room or the resort as a whole anywhere else....unless we went back! The room's view (Room S) was spectacular. The restaurant's food and view was just amazing. The food was delicious and they also had a number of nightly menu updates that kept things interesting. I completely agree with one of the quotes that they have there: "I wonder what the people on earth are doing..."
We ended up taking a water taxi from Ladera to Sandals Grande which was pretty cool. Had a nice ride up the coast. Saw the "bat cave" which was very cool. A big cave in a mountain with thousands of bats in it. Also saw the various bays and cliffs along the coast. We then took a helicopter back from Sandals to the airport. What a cool ride.

Just wanted to drop you a quick note saying thanks for booking us yet another great vacation. The Double Tree Grand Key Resort was perfect, the staff was overly helpful, very pleasant and went the extra mile to help. As we were there for the Goombay Festival and the beginning of the Fantasy Fest the hotel was full but the staff stepped it up and kept the same level of service. One night we went to catch the shuttle to downtown and there must have been 50 people waiting in line, I thought we’d be waiting for another hour to catch a shuttle, the hotel pulled out 2 additional shuttles to accommodate the crowd.. Very nice!!!
Goombay Fest is pretty much a big street fair, lots of local food… Fantasy Fest is quite the party, let’s just say we consumed a lot of alcohol. The whole body painting thing was quite interesting, people there had no hesitation of walking around naked (male or female), needless to say we kept our clothing on..haha. So I hear things really intensify as the days go on.. We were only there for the kick off on Tuesday, which I can only imagine what goes on later in the week!!!
We did rent a car and drive up through the Keys one day, found a lot of great local places, some of the best food on the trip!! We stopped at Bahia Honda State Park which is worth the stop!! Back at Key West we did a Sunset Wine and Cheese cruise.. I high recommend Danger Charters! What a wine selection!! Don’t really remember the sunset that night.
Anyway just wanted to give you some quick highlights of our trip.. Lots of great memories!!

First of all I apologize for the delay in my response. My trip was AWESOME, GREAT, FABULOUS etc… Once I got there we were greeted by the apple vacations representative which made sure that we got to the bus and resort safe. This is a good thing because the locals tend to harass in order for them to make money. The representative was very helpful in telling us what to look out for and letting us know the main attractions of the island.
Upon arrival to the Bavaro Princess Resort we were amazed at the beautiful architecture and the friendly service provided. They took all of our belongings to the room and provided a shuttle for us to get to our room. We were starving and were able to go to the main restaurant which the food was fantastic.
The main pool was great. Immaculately clean and very well maintained. The beach was right by the pool and it was also clean. The pool had a nice swim up bar, staff treated us wonderfully. All of the restaurants were good and the service provided great. I must admitt I had an advantage being hispanic, I was able to gain a lot of friendships with the staff and get extra service at no charge.
One thing that was amazing was the fact that most of the staff spoke 4 different languages (spanish, english, french and german).
The room was always clean and very spacious. I would recommend this trip to anyone.

I'm so sorry I have not had the time to write to you, but I wanted to relay how our vacation was at Whitehouse Jamaica. I can not tell you how beautiful the property was and how much fun we had.
The food was just unbelievable. We have truly fallen in love with anything that is "Jerk" and purchased rubs and bbq sauces there as well. You truly made this a vacation that we will never forget and I can not thank you enough. You were right when you said that when you go to a Sandals, you will see the difference from other all inclusives. You were right. Everyday for lunch we went to the restaurant outside by the French pool, it was the best. We must have tried everything on that menu and our favorite was the Jerk Calamari. I miss that alot. :)
From the gracious staff to the food and just the grounds of the resort and our room, we truly would recommend a Sandals to anyone. Also, when we decide to go away again, I definitely want to see another Sandals property. This was trip was for our 2nd wedding anniversary and I have to tell you, I am pregnant now. So, the trip is even more unforgettable. :)
Thank you once again for all your recommendations and putting up with me on being so picky about booking the right vacation. Sandals truly impressed us very much and we will never forget this vacation.

We were upgraded to Luxury, which was a nice surprise, the food was amazing, our room had a beautiful view, and the atmosphere was welcoming. I really appreciate all you had done for us, and if there are any other specials going on, please let us know. Although we have set our standards quite high with this resort, we might be interested in trying ones closer to Dunn's River Falls so we can see more of Jamaica. We especially liked seeing the Dunn's River location had the swim up suites, so if any specials come across, please let us know.

Trip was great! Jeremy found us in the lobby like minutes after we got there. You must have given him a heads up. He asked Bobbi and I if we would like dinner on the beach again. That was terrific again, we never get tired of the special treatment there. Brian and I got our silver sandals this time, how cool! All in all, they never cease to amaze us and have the customer service thing over any resorts we've ever stayed at.
We had an issue with the room at Royal, they put us in the lobby building overlooking the courtyard, very noisy. The building we were in last year was under renovation. Our guys went to Jason Halloway (we met him last year and he is now Sales Manager) to see if we could be moved because it was noisy and they had a full house that day. They moved us the next day to the rooms we always wanted to be in (we didn't even ask for a specific room - just to be moved). It was the building on the beach with it's own pool, and mini bar, robes, jacuzzi tub. He also gave Bobbie and I a $250 spa certificate, bottle of champagne, took a picture of us at our island dinner and had it in a frame in our room when we got back from dinner on the island. They were wonderful, really went above and beyond -- I still feel like I was in heaven. They have a new Pub that we loved and we got to know the guys in the Pub (had the most wonderful time).
Jamaicans are wonderful........... and we never get tired of Jamaica. We were also astounded -- we were in/out of the airport in 1/2 hour, simply amazing!

We just came home from Atlantis in the Bahamas and Chris and I wanted to drop you a quick line to thank you for putting together a wonderful trip. The Atlantis Resort offered so many different activities that we will definitely be taking our daughters next year. There is a teen night club as well as many activities during the day to keep them occupied. Atlantis recently added several water attractions that make it a very respectable water park. We didn't realize that with all of the aquariums that are part of Atlantis, it is one of the largest aquariums in the world. Our room was spacious, with an outstanding view of several of the sea ray tanks and one of our many pools. We had two outstanding dinners at two of their "gourmet" restaurants. The Seafire Grill and Steakhouse was the usual steakhouse experience with some local seafood thrown in; bring your appetite to this one as the portions are big. The Cafe Martinique was primarily a local seafood experience with impeccable service and attention. The one "must do" activity at Atlantis was the dolphin interaction at Dolphin Cay. They actually rescued 12 dolphins from Hurricane Katrina and brought them to Atlantis. You can tell by our picture what an amazing experience this was.

We just returned from our trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic from Jan 19th thru 26th of this year. The trip was fantastic. On a scale of 1 to 10 it was a 10. We can find NO NEGATIVES at all for the trip. The Melia Caribe Resort was the best resort that we have been to since we started doing all inclusive. The liquor was all top shelf. The food in the restaurants was all outstanding. We visited the Japenese restaurant twice, the Italian restaurant once, the Dominican restaurant once, the Seafood restaurant once. The one thing that impressed us at each restaurant was the way the food was presented when it was served to us. They did a very professional job. The rooms were great and were very clean. The resort was a nice large resort and was well maintained. It was very clean. The two pools were great, the beach was outstanding. The VIP representative that was there named Kirby, was great. He booked two tours for us and was very helpful with any questions that we had. He greeted us upon our arrival at the resort and told us all about the resort. He than met us on our day of departure and made sure that the van was there to take us back to the airport. I have attached a picture of our group. The gentleman in the picture with us is Kelly. He is a coinceriege who helped us each day get our reservation for the different restaurants. He was a really big help in making our stay enjoyable. I would not hesitate to recommend this Melia Caribe Resort to anyone to visit. It is very well run and all the people are very professional. The language difference was not a problem either for anyone that you had to deal with, Desk Clerks, Bar tenders, Waitresses, for they all could speak English. We are looking at maybe returning there again next year because we had such a great time.

We just got back from Jamaica….you did a great job getting us booked on a Sunday. Thank you so much… My next trip will be to Panama. For two not at a resort but on the Atlantic side… would like to stay same amount of time. I need to hear the price difference of first class and coach. Breezes was great. Food was good. Diving is safer than a pool….no shark, barracuda or skates…other than that 20- 30 foot visibility. I recommend telling other people to bring snorkel mask and fins that they own…. The coral is 30 feet offshore…locals are very very nice.

Anyway the island was in great shape no damage that far north. We had one of our best vacations ever! Credit to you for picking the spots that suit us and what we like to do. The golf was great(the caddie we had all week asked for a photo with Hayley so he'll be remembered as her first caddie when she makes the LPGA). The hotel was great the food was good. The most remarkable thing was how wonderful the people were. The service was fantastic and everyone was so nice we loved our vacation.

Got back late Tuesday afternoon after a very, very relaxing week at Azul Blue. It was, without a doubt, the most relaxing and elegant vacation Mary Lou and I have ever had. They knew our name at the restaurant by the second day. The service had the personal touch. They were there for any request we had. They did seem to be stumped by my request for my nightly drink of VO and water on the rocks. The one time they tried to make it, they used tonic water which I explained to them did not taste good so they were then willing to run to the bar to get the VO and bring me a glass of ice and a bottle of water so I could make my own. I think they were more used to making the traditional mixed drinks and serving wine. I told them it was not a big deal to serve my drink they way they did. The butler service was also very nice. Although our butler was Noe, we also used the services of Mario and Carlos who were on duty at the desk in our villa. They were all quite accommodating. We had Alex, the recreation butler, arrange a snorkeling trip on the reef with two young guys at the beach at Paraiso. It was one hour with one of the guys as our guide and the other stayed with the boat. At $20.00/person, it was definitely worth it. We got rides from the hotel and also used the bikes (could have had more comfortable seats) one day. Freddy, our pool butler, was also very good. He ran around there getting anything we requested from drinks to food as well as the cool towels, putting up the umbrellas and getting us the large towels for our chairs. The double bed chairs were very nice too.
The food was superb. I am not as much of a food connoisseur as Mary Lou, but I have to say that I really enjoyed the variety and quality of food. The executive chef came around and introduced himself and asked if everything was ok. We told him everything from breakfast to dinner and deserts was excellent. We got to eat at all three restaurants and try many different selections from all the menus. As far a quiet, the first three days we were there, the maximum number of people at the pool was 14 with only 30 people registered in the place. The maximum we saw at the pool was 21 and that was because a group of 16, from Austria, came in on Sat but only stayed for one day. Meals were also very quite, except for the one that had the group from Austria there, but even with them, the service was still very good.
We both thank you very much for making the arrangements for us. It was very nice to have everything arranged for us. We had no problems with flights, transfers to and from the airport or the accommodations. We would definitely be glad to use you again and also recommend you to others. Thank you for the post card that we received when we got home. That was a nice touch. Thanks again.

I believe Rebecca sent off the information back to Sandals for our Hurricane Guarantee Voucher and we are definitely going to come to you to help us book our trip next summer (After school ends in June).
We're not sure where we'll want to go. We absolutely loved Whitehouse and Jamaica, but we might want to try a different resort. We'll debate our destination and let you know as soon as we have all the info back from Sandals.

We got out on Delta, with no issue. We were even sitting in FIRST CLASS - - WAHOO !! A first for me !!
Bahia Punta Cana, is maybe even better than Mexico. The beach/sand is just beautiful and goes for miles and miles. No coral in the water. Spotless as can be. Food and drinks are plentiful. My husband tipped the guy that checked us in, and he moved us pretty close to the beach. The suites are really pretty, bathrooms are big and spacious. We just can't thank you enough for all of your hard work on Saturday - - all day long !!!
Will write more when we return, but we both really appreciate all that you did for when we were standed at Newark with no place to go !! You're the best !!!

Thought I would drop you an e-mail about our trip to El Dorado Royale, it was wonderful! We had an awesome time! The resort is so beautiful and the staff was great. We had great weather 7 of 8 days were perfect. You know i am a huge [all inclusive resort] fan but there were a few things I liked better at El Dorado. I think, overall, the food was better, although there are really no big buffets, except for breakfast, but the quality was sooooo impressive. Our room, with the swim up suite was just so cool, and was kept incredibly clean, we loved it. El Dorado is a really laid back resort, which we loved. Not much night life on the resort, but we are not night life people. We did go to Playa Del Carmen twice for excitement and it was great. The pools were lovely at El Dorado, clean and not crowded, lots of them and lots of pool bars. The beach was a nice place to lay out, but swimming was not good, do not recomend El Dorado to big Beach people because i think they will be dissapointed. Apparently their beaches were ruined with the hurricane damage. It was nice to be able to ride bicycles around the resort and be transported by golf cart if you did not want to walk anywhere, because the resort is soooo big. Bikes are free. We will definately at some point be going back, we had such a good time, I loved Mexico, felt much safer than Jamaica and the roads are way way better.

I was going to call you, but the guys are in the office. Don't want them to hear me gushing. Wow - what an incredible vacation. We are still on a high. Jeremy Mutton at the Royal is wonderful. Wow and double Wow! He had the most wonderful dinner set up for us on Cay Island. Our own special waiter, wine stewart, the whole nine yards - right on the beach away from all the activity. We all thought we died and were in heaven! He happened to be on the island the night of our special dinner because Butch Steward was having a private dinner on the island too! When I saw Jeremy and thanked him I started crying because I was so touched by what he did and Bobbi came over and started crying too! We were absolutely blown away! He took our hands and I could have melted on the spot. Then I walked around the island and wanted to meet Butch. He was right on the pier and I walked up and asked if I could meet him. He was so gracious. I told him how wonderful Sandals was and that we keep coming back because of the service, food, and people. He was all smiles! What an experience for me. Then, we met Simon (Asst. Manager) at MObay and his wife at the special dinner and had a ball with them and spent a lot of time with them throughout the week. Even went to their house to meet their kids, they have beautiful kids. We wound up eating lunch/breakfast almost every day with Simon and sometimes with Chantel his wife. They asked Bret & Bobbi at the dinner if they would like to be in a video having a massage. So the next day they were videotaped having a massage. Then Simon asked all of us if we would like to help him and be in a video eating at the OK Corral and we were all in that video. The next day he asked us if we would help him again and we were videotaped at the Italian restaurant. Next month we will be on the MOBAY website video. We were like celebrities. People were coming up to us all week because they recognized us. We met so many wonderful people it just blew us away. There were so many good things, we can write a book.
We are going back next year again for 10 days. Simon's wife cried when we said goodbye yesterday............ Makes it all the more special! I honestly don't know how to thank you for the "extra" special treatment. Maybe we can send you a photo from our trip of the special dinner! thanks again for all that you do and did this time, we are still flying high from this trip!
Let us know when they run a good special. We are going back! Thanks again and again - you helped create some lasting memories by being our travel agent!!!!!

My girlfriend and I just returned from Las Vegas last night, and I wanted to let you know how much I appreciated your assistance. In addition to getting me better rates than I ever thought possible, I had a care free trip knowing that you had taken care of all the details.
The complementary travel pouch was very convenient because of its size, and the fact that it kept all of my important paperwork in one safe place. We actually ended up being picked up by a limo, which was very affordable and worth every penny. The Bellagio was, without a doubt, the nicest hotel that I have ever checked in to. To top the trip off, we were upgraded to first class on our trip home. What a way to travel!!!

Where do I begin? We had a ball. Most of us want to go back next year, if the price comes down again. I loved Sandals Montego Bay resort. The set-up was perfect. We hung out at the beach where the pool bar was, so we could float on rafts when it was hot and drink. Everything great in one place. The food was fabulous and the staff couldn't do more. We made many Jamaican friends. Our room was great - right on the beach! Thanks for that! And the gym was right behind our building. I went every morning before breakfast for an hour to work out. I knew those frozen drinks would be my downfall, so I worked out every day.
We could go back to this resort every year if affordable. It was perfect is so many ways. Keep a look out next year for us, when they have a price reduction. I'm also glad we added two nights, it was nice staying longer than a week! This was one of the best vacations we've had in years. The others were good, but this was great! You did a lot of good things for us. There's so much that happened that I can't remember it all....... many good times had by all.......Thanks again!

Many thanks for putting that all together for us. The only problem about the vacation was that it went by way too fast!!!! The weather was warm which felt great.
I would recommend that anyone go down there that same time, because the lines for the rides were fairly short. We never waited a long time. We saw lots of Characters which the kids loved! Took a ton of pictures and created a lot of great memories!
We went to the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party which was neat and not crowded. Maybe it gets crowded closer to Christmas , but it wasn't the night we went.
The Christmas shows were spectacular and well done.

The grounds were gorgeous and the food was excellent. We've told just about everyone we know that they have to give it a try.
On a different note... My sister and I are planning on a cruise in March, 2005. She's been on plenty; I've never been. Since you did such a great job with my honeymoon we wanted to know if you book cruises as well? We'd like to go someplace new, which counts out Jamaica and the Cayman Islands. We'd like to leave from either Houston, New Orleans, or Tampa if possible. Any help would be appreciated.

Just wanted to let you know we had a great time in Punta Cana. No problems with delays with flights and the weather was outstanding. We were so lucky with the hurricanes coming through we missed them, especially as there is another on the way through starting Wednesday, so we are pleased to be back safe and sound.
The Japanese restaurant was fantastic and very enjoyable and it was fun to have choices with the disco, casino and shows. The water sports were great also.
I was wondering if there were any offers yet for November, I would be happy to go back to Punta Cana, Jamaica or anywhere else. I have the holiday bug now! The dates were November 6th to 13th/ 14th. It would be for two people, myself and my mum. I have to go to the uk for a couple of weeks 10th Sept - 22nd Sept but will be about after then.

What a trip! We absolutely loved Whitehouse! It was great.
We loved the way the resort was laid out. There were a lot of people but you weren't on top of anybody.
We were in the French Village, 4th floor. Wow--what beautiful sunsets every night!
Food was excellent. We did pass on the chocolate buffet, however. Much too late to indulge!
We had no complaints and heard very few from others.
Mark and I would like to meet you and take you out for dinner. Please let us know what your schedule is like and if you would be available some Saturday evening in the near future!

We returned from El Dorado Seaside on Monday night. The resort was very nice — lovely rooms, very good food, and excellent service. It was a great place for the relaxation we were looking for.
The staff was consistently friendly and accommodating, and we enjoyed lounging in our bed on the beach. The grounds were well-kept, and there were a nice variety of activities available (although we happily opted to avoid most of them). We enjoyed the decor of the restaurants and the presentation of the food. Almost all of the men wore shorts and nice shirts to dinner, so my husband was very happy to fit right in.
We enjoyed it very much and would recommend it to others. We did have an excellent vacation and very much enjoyed being in Mexico. Thanks for guiding us to this resort and for being patient with all my questions and concerns.
