Their Story

We got engaged on 11-27-09 at Love Park in Philadelphia, PA.  It was a nice beautiful fall/chilly day in the city.  My fiancé, Jorge had taken me to Fogo de Chao for a wonderful early dinner.  As we were walking he wanted to stop at Love Park and made sure that we were standing right in front of the Love sign.  He then began to tell me how much he loved me and I was wondering what was going on, until he asked me that one question that I'd be waiting to hear, "Will you marry me."  I was so happy and excited that I didn’t even let him finish and said Yes.  As I look to my right, my good friends Tiara & Carol where there snapping pictures. They had been hiding waiting for us to get there. When we got home yet another surprise; my cousin Eric, my other good friend, Yamsel, Carol & Tiara had a beautiful cake and decorations waiting for me. My fiance and friends had planned our engagement party. We were able to celebrate with our closest friends and family and I was totally surprised. We are truly blessed to have such awesome people in our lives.  After 7 yrs together and 2 yrs of being engaged we have decided to have a destination wedding and in a location i have always dreamed about!
